Since founding Wide Area Media, LLC. in 2004, Brian has grown the company organically by taking a consultative approach to every project and keeping the company and expertise focused on specific, interactive technologies. Since 1998, he has led numerous interactive communications technology projects ranging from simple desktop solutions to multi-million dollar enterprise systems. Brian has over 10 years of experience in business development, and building start-up companies under the umbrella of Streaming Media. Brian has expert knowledge of IP video communications solutions and is well versed at translating complex technologies and concepts into simple terminology and solid solutions. Brian is a champion of the "Entrepreneur" and is passionate about emerging and disruptive technologies and the opportunities presented by challenging ideas. Brian is a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio and is a USA Football Certified Coach.
Chief Technology Officer
Nick has led every organization he has worked with toward a better understanding of and better use of every technology he introduces. Starting in 1994 with Kent State University's Office of Distributed Learning, Nick has promoted and implemented the inherent power of networked culture, intelligence and expression. In 2005 Nick joined Brian in building Wide Area Media from the ground up to be a TCP/IP media consultancy positioning it for a bright future. Nick lives in Cleveland and participates regularly in the local arts community.
Vice President, Business Development
Roger Vichill came to Wide Area Media in 2012 with over 23 years of sales, sales management and business development experience in multiple industries including distribution, packaging, financial services, telecommunications, audio visual integration and software. As Vice President of Business Development, he oversees the sales and marketing plan as a part of overall Wide Area Media business development strategy including the identification and integration of new business partners to build market position and grow revenue. He holds a B.A. degree from the Ohio University School of Telecommunications.
